FOOD SERVICES

Clarkdale-Jerome School is committed to the health and well-being of our students and we believe a nutritious diet helps them perform better in school. We are proud to offer breakfast and lunch service daily in our cafeteria. We use the freshest ingredients available, and offer a wide variety of choices throughout the school year.

Our 2023-24 daily meal rates are:

    Breakfast - $1.85    Lunch - $3.05

We encourage families to be current on their meal account balances. If your student has a negative balance account, we will provide up to three meals. We will then provide cheese sandwiches while your account is brought up-to-date.

District Wellness Committee

The District Wellness Committee will have its annual meeting to review and make recommendations regarding the Local Wellness Policy (LWP). They will assess the LWP's alignment to federal and state guidelines and the extent to which it is carried out. If you would like to participate in the wellness committee meetings, please contact Principal Madisen Westcott. Wellness committee meeting dates will be posted here.

Click on the following links to access our Local Wellness Policy, the Wellness Assessment Tool and the Comparison with a Model Policy. The assessment tool and comparison to model policy have both been completed by the District Wellness Committee. Note that the adherence to policy and the carrying out of policy is still a work in progress. We expect the scores to increase as the Wellness Committee continues to address the needs of the students and staff.
