Congrats to the CJSD Boys Basketball Team 🏀🐏 They took first place 🥇 at the Many Farms Public School Cougar Classic this weekend in Chinle, Arizona. The boys played 6 games, with 5 games on Saturday. They came back from the losers bracket to win in the championship game! The score was tied 30-30 with 6 seconds left- 8th grader Anthony Carter hit a 3-point shot for the win! Great job to all the boys for their grit and determination against some tough teams! A special shout out to 8th grader Ilijah Fields being named tournament MVP 🏆 Go Rams! 💚 💛

5th-8th grade boys and girls are welcome to attend. Athletes must have an athletic packet and sports physical turned in to the front office prior to participating. All athletes must have shinguards and cleats to practice.

The new CJSD Governing Board was sworn in at last nights December board meeting. Four year terms for Mrs. Janet Regner, Ms. Angie Smith and Mr. Scott Russell. Two year term for Mr. Seth Murphy.
Ms.Monique and parent volunteer, Merchelle Jackson taught the kindergarten classes how to make fry bread today!

4th grade: Boxed potatoes, gravy and salad dressing
5th grade: Canned yams and canned tuna
6th grade: Stuffing mix and Cream of Mushroom soup
7th/8th grade: Canned fruits, canned cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, soups and condiments
*Please no glass or expired items.
The 1st place class gets a pizza and ice cream party.

Great job to the CJSD Flag Football team! They took 2nd place at the Verde Valley Schools Tournament 🥈 Thank you to Camp Verde for hosting the tournament and all the coaches and referees throughout the season.
