Kindergarten Boot Camp starts next week! Students will meet the teachers, tour the campus and learn general school and classroom procedures. Incoming CJSD kindergarteners must have a registration packet turned into the front office prior to attending.

Rams Reminder:
All 5th - 8th grade students interested in playing a sport for the 2025-2026 school year will need a completed physical on file prior to try outs. Fall sports begin the second week of school - Flag Football (Boys 7th/8th), Volleyball (Girls 5th-8th) and Cross Country (5th-8th).

Rams Reminder: 8th grade students release at noon tomorrow, 5/22. Please pick your child up in front of the school. 8th grade promotion is tomorrow at 6:30 pm on the soccer field. Bring a chair or blanket for seating. 8th graders will have a dance after promotion, ending at 9:30 pm.

The initiative connects students with hands-on training in fields like HVAC, nursing, law enforcement and carpentry, years before most of their peers explore similar opportunities. Superintendent Dr. Matt Schumacher saw the potential early on. “We just want to take advantage of this great partnership with Yavapai College,” he said. “We’re perking the interest of our students in potential career paths that will be beneficial to them and the community at large.” From the classroom to real-world skills Unlike traditional classes, these sessions are immersive and career-focused.
