School Counseling Services
Our Counselor, Rolande Karn, can be reached at Rolande Karn.
Hello! The Clarkdale-Jerome School Counselor is here to provide support to students and families through classroom lessons, small group activities and individual counseling. She collaborates with school staff and parents in order to best meet the needs of our students.
Classroom lessons cover topics that involve social and emotional age-appropriate issues. She also spends time in the lunchroom and outside before and after school to meet and visit with all our students.
The Counselor offers a variety of small group support for students facing and coping with similar life situations. These range from family changes and grief to friendship and academic support.
If a challenging situation arises in which a student needs immediate support during a crisis, our Counselor is available for individual support and counseling as well as providing connections to outside community services and resources.
